I'm currently hunting for a nice LSD solution for the front, 1 wheel peel @ 400+whp would be pretty scary.

I see these for the older WRX, Does anyone know if the same ones will work for a 2005 Legacy GT? I know the gears are a little bigger in the tranny, but not sure if I could use the same LSD

According to a few websites for the Quaife -
Guaranteed Fitments:
Impreza and Legacy AWD Front, including WRX USA 5-speed (not STi) - (2002-2005)
not speaking from personal experience, just what I read.
Quaifes website doesnt list it, i would call them to verify.

I'm good on the idea of a spool, My current 97 wagon is setup in RWD with a welded diff and its not fun to drive at all

then why do you want a spool?I believe when Thorne said "I'm good...", he meant "I'm not in favor of using a spool."
