I have a problem with the Front Drivers-side amber parking light.

3000 mi, all lights were working

Now that I need a new inspection sticker, one problem. The Front Drivers-side turn signal works, but the parking light is out. It should be on with the headlights, but isn't. The Right, Passenger-side works perfectly. All tail lights are working.

I've swapped the bulbs to check both filiments. Both are working when in the right-side. I quickly checked in the dark and there's no wires loose or missing. Could a blown fuse affect one side and not the other?

Any suggestions?

Try using a test light to see if any juice makes it to the light. Could be a bad connector or broken wire.

One thing we were shown in class is that the solder in the parking and tail lights (at the ends of the wires) was soldered with acid core solder, and the wires will separate just inside the insulation. We were told to strip the wires back and trim the rotted area off. See if you're getting power to the socket, then pull on the wire and see if it separates. My aftermarket turn signal had wires that were separated just past the solder at both ends (all three wires). Had to take the turn signal apart and replace all the wires.

Left and right are not fused individually. Follow the path---check for power on the tan wire before the Weatherpack connector. If you've got it there check for power after the connector and if you are good at that point check at the contact in the lamp housing. My money is on the connection at the Weatherpack.

Good luck,
Jeff

Do you have some led tail lights to offer?

I had a problem with the right side high beam headlight that wouldn't work on my recently acquired 3.1. Bought a new sealed beam unit but that didn't do it. After testing, I found that the wire from the harness had come loose from the pigtail wire into the headlight fixture. Have you backed up along the power supply wire, testing to determine at what point there is a loss of power? There's probably a break somewhere along that line. I didn't look at my parking light wires, but on my car the wire in the harness was clearly labeled "high beam." Also, check to make sure you have a good ground. Corrosion, loose connection, broken wire?
