Also working on the heater today. Intended to run standard heater hose off the coyote to the FF heater, but also struggling with finding connections to make the 90 degree elbows off the coyote. So now considering buying the Ford heater hose parts. But they are difficult to find and expensive. What have others done? As always, pictures are sure appreciated.

I installed using the stock Coyote heater hoses however I had to make several cuts to modify the hoses and used sleeves and clamps to create the proper alignment and to allow the installation of the heater control valve

Install the stock heater hoses onto the engine and you will see where the hoses will need to be cut and modified for proper fit.

I would just get the stock heater hoses. I considered a couple of different designs, but the tricky part is you need a 90* bend immediately after the engine connection point. Here is my setup. My heater control valve is underneath the ECM and the switch is located underneath the dash passenger side, hidden. I dont know if I will be able to reach it while belted in but I bought the heater system mostly for passenger comfort anyway.

Just reading another forum post and someone pointed out that the Coyote requires constant coolant flow through the heater hoses and that with FF supplied heater (as in pictures above) the shut-off valve is going to cause a problem. They are suggesting a simple bypass with a restricted line, which makes sense (Detail coming from Ford so I believe that this will be required). Just wondering what some others have done, and if anyone has found an existing part to make this a simple fix. Thoughts?
