Has anyone used the coyote with an automatic? I want to use an auto but want a direct bolt in, no alterations. any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for exactly the same thing and I have purchased an x6 TCI Transmission for my Coyote engine. I'm hopping the whole enchilada fits in my 33 Hot Rod
Okay, I got no response for the above question! I got myself my own response and the answer to my question is DON'T EVEN THINK OF USING THIS X6 TCI FOR YOUR 33' HOT ROD. It will not fit and it costs an arm and a leg.
I had to cut and weld the frame and I just hope 1) that it works and 2) that I never have to remove it for servicing or repair.
Dan Golub at FFR did me a great DISSERVICE in suggesting the TCI x6 and also a Vintage Air kit without the compressor because there is no compressor that will fit the Coyote in a 33'

We are building a Hot Rod with a coyote and auto trans right now.
The trans is a 4r70W, and it bolts right up to the motor. (you do need to change the flywheel)
Let me know if you want any more info and pics, so I can ask my mechanic.

I would love more info! Specifically what flywheel are you using? What drive shaft are you using? Any pics would be great. Any major mods you needed to do or does it pretty much fit right in? Many thanks!
