Hi there,

I've searched the forum AND the WEB but was unsuccessful finding a supplier or manufacturer of hardtop for the FFR Cobra MKIV. I mostly end up on links that leads to whatever except to FFR Cobras and they really don't seam to fit that application. I've seen quite a few but I just can't get to a link to the owners supplier of their hardtop.

Can someone propose a reliable source or a manufacturer of Hardtop, with a direct link, one that can shows prices and pictures of their products?

Thanks

I think WhitbyMotorsports.com makes them. No pics on their site though. Call or email jeff collins there to check pricing and fit.

Okay. Found this. A.P.E. Products (http://apeproducts.netfirms.com/index.html/hardtop.htm). They offer a hardtop with a solid LEXAN back window. They also offer some options like flippable side windows for.

APE has been arround for quite awhile. Do a search on them. Customer support is not very good and lead times vary greatly. The top is really nice.

Mr. Bruce's Le Mans top. He lives in PA and makes several different types of tops, bodies and more. I saw this one at Watkins Glen this year.

The problem is you have a MkIV w/ the lower, more original, look to the rear half of the body. If you had a three it would be easier. This is a shot of my APE top after I did the drop butt mod on my MkII which approximates the MkIV body shape. As you can see I made a tapered foam seal which is about 1/4 inch thick at the door and about 1 inch thick across the back.
