Seeing as how we don't have much else to keep us busy.......
Holy crap! I was gonna post a few designs I saw on eBay and such, but there are too many options for individual pics. I'm sure this is one of the reasons FFR chose this particular light.
Here is a slideshow. http://www.flickr.com//photos/23291496@N04/sets/72157631640405536/show/
I'm sure there are more out there if you look deeper. I stopped after about 30 mins on Google and eBay.
I make no ascertations as to the actual nighttime worthyness or overall quality of any of these examples. If your an urban 818 driver or don't expect much nighttime driving I guess style could trump performance.
Edit: The 818 headlights are mid 2000s Toyota Camry headlight or compatible.

Just saw the slideshow. You ain't joking. Lots of options. Some rice. Some nice. Wonder if you can just get blanking plates for the 818R?

Plenty of good looking options, but the problem I see is that many times these ebay lights suffer from poor light output and also the potential for letting moisture in. Also many are not DOT legal so may get you looked at more by police.
I have heard that some of these aftermarket lights, that have the projector lenses already built into them, won't withstand the heat of a good quality xenon HID light. Often times they put normal halogens in them and they are just made to look like a projector HID system. If you try to put a HID system in them they will melt the housings.
I have no idea if the particular lights in that slide show fall into this category, but anyone thinking about getting one of these options would be wise to check into that first.

Hmm...
I like some of those projector options. Certainly an easy to start from platform for a swap. I wonder if you can not get lights from FFR, save a few bucks, and put it towards aftermarket lights.

yeah might just have to hollow them out and paint them back.

At this point we don't know if FFR is even providing the lights. I *assume* they will.
If they do, will they provide OEM lights or possibly cheaper "eBay" lights? If OEM, what trim level?
Even though they are not projectors, the blacked out "SE" trim lights that they appear to be using on the SEMA car look pretty good.

PhyrraM, you scour the rest of the internet to find out more info about the 818 except FFR main website, lol. I just checked yesterday and noticed they updated it so I'm in the same boat.

That is true. Sometime we forget to look right under our noses.
I recall them stating the lights are all provided months ago. I just wonder if things will change as they deal with the realities of the $10K out the door price. Hell, I wonder if it's even a challange for FFR, considering how long they have been doing it.
