Hello everyone. I am really interested in the 33 hot rod kit. I am 6'3" and weigh 270lb. I would more than likely start with the stage one kit. Save more money and go from there. I have never built a car from the ground up before, but have had my hands dirty on many vehicles in my youth. I would like to build the coyote version of this vehicle but am not familiar with Fords at all. I do not know what you have to have to make this engine work in your car. Just dreaming anyway, but I know there is alot of knowledge on these forums.

Welcome to the forum Jeff! My dad and I just completed the '33 kit with the Coyote engine in it and it is a monster! We've never had any experience with building cars expect for the occasional tire change :p! Fitting that thing is there was tough but now we reap the benefits :D! The build was a blast and now we're waiting for the 818. Here's a pic of the engine:

Very jealous. That looks great. What tranny did you use and is it auto or standard?

Thanks! We used the TKO-500. We bought the motor from Tasca Motors as a package(tranny & engine). All we had to do was mate them together which turned out to be not all that hard.

I want an automatic transmission behind the coyote engine. What is recommended that will be a direct bolt in? Anyone?
