I am tightening the IRS pumpkin to the frame, however, the manual has left out the torque settings for the 4 bolts required.
I looked at the reference at the back of the manual and think I've got it right, but I want to verify my settings.
The two bolts mounted to the horizontal frame toward the front of the car are set to 48 ft-lbs (7/16 - 14).
The two bolts mounted to the vertical mounts toward the rear of the car are set to 54 ft-lbs (7/16 - 24)
I am using calipers to measure the thread size and counting the number of threads on the bolt. The thread size isn't exact, but withing a few decimal points.
Am I doing this correctly?
Thanks.
