I'm probably paranoid, but is there any tips regarding removing the body from the frame. I removed the 4 front and 4 rear bolts attaching the body to the chassis. I also cut a piece of wood to place between the front portion over the dash area, and the rear body rolled area behind the seats. I just test lifting the body and it definitely bends - the scary part. I also see the body rolls under the chassis. I'm I correct in assuming I lift the back of the body up first and them slide the body forward to clear the frame, and then lift the front portion? And do I just pull the body sides out a little to clear the frame. Again, I'm probably just new at this so I'm a bit tentative regarding the limits of the body.

You need to be 4 to do it one in thé front 1 in thé back and 1 on eighter side to pull thé body from thé frame.

The job can be done with 2 or 3, but 4 people makes it very easy. They don't need to be extremely strong either.

My body had a couple of screws under the side rails that needed to be removed.

Lift the rear while pulling out on the sides to clear the frame. Once the sides are clear move forward enough for the nose to clear the bumper mounts and lift. It will be off in five minutes.

I recommend gloves. The edge of the body is raw. Glass fibers are not pleasant to get in your hands.

I hoisted mine up. Its hanging from the ceiling. I ran 2x4s the length of the body and added some crossways under the fenders. Its supported at 8 points and seems not to be deformed. I wont keep it this way for long. The body is stronger than it seems although I was apprehensive at first.
