Powder coat scratch repair

I am planning to touch up any scratched powder coating on my frame with glossy black rustoleum.
Can anyone offer any better suggestions before I get started?

That's what I used when doing my frame mods. It is pretty much unnoticeable.

Actually the Rustoleum Appliance paint in gloss black is an exact match and is tougher than the regular paint.

The trick is to mask off the area you want to spray. It's better to end up w/ a tape line than for the spray to just kind of fade. The faded area looks dull or flat.

If you're not going to see it with the body on there's no point in spending hours just for the rust prevention.
