Was wondering if anyone was willing to post images, underneath if possible, of their roadster with duals instead of sidepipes.
Don't get me wrong, those pipes are righteous, just want to consider the optional aesthetic. I always like to build something "just off center", you know?

Thanks....Dan PS, I love all of your work, the creativity and inginuity of the participant/customers is the real strength of FFR. Keep it up!

Dan,

Currently fabricating an under-the-car system on my MkIV. Using Ford Racing shorty headers as the starting point and oval tubing and low profile mufflers from Spin Tech under the car. Since the oval pipe is only 1.75" tall and the mufflers are 2.25" tall, should be able to keep most of the system above the bottom of the 4" main rails. Just getting started but will post some pics as I make progress.
There are quite a few cars with "non sidepipe" systems...................just do a search.

Actually, most roadsters sold with undercar exhaust. Quite a few early ones raced that way, too. It's the 427 S/C infatuation that keeps them going.

Burn your SO's ankle and she won't blame the car it's built wrong.

Are there really that few roadsters out there without sidepipes? I guess I thought there may be more.
If there are, could you post any pics you might have, thanks!
