It's true what they say that the GTM has the ability to make cars disappear. When I first got to the car show I parked with the corvettes and one by one they left. Don't think they liked all the attention my car was getting. I had a blast!
Thanks for all the kind words guys

Car looks clean :) I never realized how easy it is to change the headlight bulbs on these cars lol

I still have a few things left to do but I would rather be driving it than working on it right now.
Now about the headlight I get about 50/50 to put the lens on or leaf them off. What do you guys think?

Looks cool to see one with them off, But IMHO I say put them on.
Wish that guy took a few interior shots!

Awesome Joe,
When folks were talking about making cars disappear. I’m thinking sure. The GTM is so much faster then just about anything on the road. But you were talking about car shows.... Hmm.. Well I can see that. The GTM is impressive in pictures. For some reason its so much more impressive in person.
You can walk by so many beautiful production cars at a show and say yeah I’ve seen that before. I am sure very few people can walk past your GTM without stopping.
I can see how even the best cars at any show fail to have the impact of a GTM. I have only seen 5 GTMs in person in my life including mine.
3 At SEMA last year, The Factory Five Yellow, car and my car.
I have never seen a GTM driving in person. How crazy is that!
Congratulations on your excellent car.

Joe, I agree with Flotowngtm, looks cool but my vote is to put the covers on. (short thread jacking Joe) What are you guys using to attach the covers other than bolts? What glue, silicone, or others do you recommend?

When I install them going to make them removable.
This is what I am using.
Going to use a stick on cork gasket to seal them.

I would install them. Just lay them in place, stand back and take a look. You'll notice how the covers complete the lines of the hood and add to the overall look (at least IMO). But to each his own.

I agree with Vidal, but also to protect the lights from stone chips.

Beautiful car, my dad and I just finished our '33 and whenever we pull up into a show it gets some looks! Our next project is the 818 (my car) :D then whenever that project is finished we plan on building the GTM! Again, really beautiful car you have there, personally only seen the FFR yellow car & a black one at the HR Nationals in Louisville, KY. Here's some of our car:
Ford 5L "Coyote":
11757
Roadster:
11758
Coupe:
11756

Joe ! car is beautiful, I bet a lot of people don't realize that YOU built it. It looks like a factory built it. And take that as a complement big time.
