MK 4 exhaust system

Does anyone know of a method to quiet my roadster exhaust. The sanctioning body I autocross with is imposing sound restrictions for the venue we use. I've been told there are baffles out there for the j-pipes. My wallet is very thin so an economical fix is desired. FYI: 99 DB or less is what's required. I'm pushing around 106-108 DB's.

Car Chemistry inserts. I have them in the j-pipes on my car (but they were installed when I got them). I will try to find a link to a post on the other forum for you. They work, but you will lose some power in the upper RPMs as a result.

Here's a dyno sheet on my motor with the inserts in the j-pipes. When this was done, the engine was a 5.0 with edelbrock alum. heads, a decent cam and an Edelbrock upper intake setup. I have modified things a bit (mass-flo upper setup), but no recent dyno

I really can't say what the decibel readings are...but it's a lot quieter than my last car.

here ya go. Much less expensive than CC inserts and very effective. The turndowns also allow angling the tip down toward the ground which helps in itself. I have had these on since this post and am very happy w/ the results.
