Congrats VTGTM,

Huge milestone. I'll have to stop by next time I'm in EJ. I go there about once a quarter.

Awesome man! Super exciting. Congratulations.

Great image stabilization on the video too. Its nice not to watch a bouncy cell phone video.

Wicked stuff! I'm about a month away from that stage, and your video give me another shot of motivation to get things in motion.

No problems to report on the test run?

Reaching that milestone realy gives you a big motivational push into the body work phase.
When you find yourself dragging butt during the body work phase just take it for a quick spin and you are good to go again. ;-)
Congratulations!

Thanks for the comments. No real problems with the first drive - the handling seemed a little squirrelly but it turned out my "eyeball" alignment was a little out of wack - I had about a 1/2" of toe in the front and over an 1" of toe out in the rear! We'll give it another run this weekend. My neighbor at work solved my temporary seat problem when a pair of meeting room chairs showed up next to the dumpster - 5 minutes with the sawsall and they were ready to go. Snow is only a couple months away here in Vermont so the plan is to finish up the mechanical systems and get everything working (AC, instruments, Racelogic system, etc.) before installing the body and beginning the fit up. It is nice to hear it run - I start it up most every night just for the heck of it.
