Got about the first 1200miles on my coupe now and read that after the suspenion works some you sould check the adjustment again, well did that and got the main frame tubes the same at all four corners but the differance on the front shocks is about 1/2" differance on the threads and when I lift the front end the one side lifts off the spring, have all corners at 4" does anybody else have that much from one side to the other ? or can thsi be expected. Just thought that the adjustment sould be about the same at each shock.

It should be very nearly the same side to side, although not necessarily front to rear depending on your ride heights. I bet if you check you'll find that the opposite rear corner is different also; i.e. if your RF is tight so is the LR. This is called "cross jacking" (think of a 4 legged stool with one short leg) and will have your weights all wonky even though the ride heights may be dead nuts equal. An eighth, or even a quarter inch difference in ride height is isn't beyond reasonable variance so long as the corner weights are correct so don't get too caught up on trying to make it measure precisely the same. It is more important to have the springs, and therefore corner weights, set evenly.

Thanks Jeff, you were right the oppisite corner was about a !/4" differant on the threads so I did the rear thread adjustment the same and the front same side to side and will not look at ride hight for now and see ow that works.
