View Full Version : 4 link axle damper

I will be converting the 4 link 8.8 to a 3 link. Can any one tell me if I can cut off the the brackets for the axle dampeners? I'm sure it will be more evident when the kit arrives. Thanks, Ken

if your talking about the quad shock, then yes. I dont thing anyone uses them with th e3 link setup.

Thanks Mike. Kinda what I figured. Can you tell me what this is? Some sort of counter balance maybe? and is it required as well?

Sometimes called the "Dog Bone" for its shape. Meant to dampen harmonic vibrations

Ditch the heavy weight as well.

Like Mike said ditch it. Once you start mounting the bananna bracket you will see that one of it's braces goes to the left side where that weight is now.
