Im using the Ford Racing Supercharge Control Pack in my Mk4 to use a 2008 GT500 5.4L.
Ive followed the instructions word for word and can not get the starter to crank. When I turn the ignition to run, you can hear the sound of some sensors??(at least thats what they sound like) turn on and a pump like sound coming from the air intake but when I turn to crank the only sound is a click as the relay closes and opens.
Ive jumped the relay on the Power Distribution Board, no crank. I have continuity from the start of the starter request wire to the solenoid but not from the Power Distribution Board to the wire.
Ford Racing say they have never had a problem with the circuit board but indicate that this may be the issue.
I have a second Control Pack so I swapped out both the Power Distribution Board and the Powertrain Control Module but still no crank.
Both control packs are brand new and the PCM's are consecutively numbered but Im really struggling to accept that it a fault with both Control Packs.
Ive run a Battery positive to the solenoid and it cranked immediately, so its not the solenoid/starter.
Anyone have an idea of what Im doing wrong or could I have 2 faulty boards?.
Any suggestions would be appreciated?
Thanks
Chris
