Hi Gang,
It has been 1 year and 5 days since I picked up my MKIV from Factory Five.
Today is my 56th birthday and this morning I dropped my car off for the final inspection! I am fairly confident that it will pass - so my plan is to spend a couple of hours tomorrow at the MD MVA and get my tags!!!!!!!!!!
Still have interior work to do and paint - although the body has been worked a lot and am down to aligning doors, hood and trunk!
I want to thank everyone on both forums who have helped - gave suggestions and of course displayed all their gadgets, modifications, gizmos, etc. That has helped me spend gazillions more!
So therefore I thank all of our supporting vendors for their products (toys), knowledge and help.
I am in discussions now with FFR about the 33!
As mentioned there is still a ton of work to do - but the journey has been a ton of fun!
On another illegal test drive last night I discovered when you pick up a pizza the lid of the box wants to keep flying open on the way home...Will keep everyone posted!
