Has anyone used the FFMetal battery box on their coupe and if so, where did you place it....

Thanks

I, as well as many others have use the FFMetal Box. Placement is dependent on which rear end you are using. I have the 3-link, and it is offset to the driver's side about 6". It drops right behind the differential, between the 3/4" tubes that brace the rear frame.
These are the best photos I can find.

This shot shows the box in front of the fuel cell

The next one shows some idea of placement.

I have one installed in my Coupe that I don't use anymore as I moved my battery. I would be willing to sell it if you are interested.

Sorry Mike,

I had already placed the order before I read your post.

No problem. It really is a quality piece. At 1st it seems like it won't fit, but there is a way by twisting it in from the front.

Mike,

Could you explain what you mean by twisting the box in from the front.

Thanks

It has been a few years, but I seem to remember having to flip it different orientations until it slid in. It goes in from the front.
