View Full Version : trunk hinges from MK 3 to 4 ?

Hi guys!
Is there a way to change the on top hinges of the MK3 to inside trunk hinges of MK 4?
I do not like the cracks on the paint.
Did not finde any infos yet...
Parts from FFR?

how do I mount the plate on the trunk inside? without any screws through the trunk...

The internal mounting points are plates with studs that get bonded into the trunk lid. As mentioned above, the Breeze hinges come with good instructions. I have a set going on my car and they are great. Note that they come in bare metal, though, so painting or powdercoating is recommended.

getting closer, just thinking about how do I position the plates on the trunk?
measuring inside/outside? the instruction will tell me that, I hope.
