Could someone who has installed Forte's front sway bar kit post a few pics of how the ends attach to the lower control arms.
Many thanks,
Ron

Mike or Steve.......................do you have a few pics you could post. It would be greatly appreciated.
Or could you give me some specific details on how the bar and rod ends attach to the lower control arm.
Does the male or female rod end attach to the bar or does it not make a difference?
There are four possible locations the rod end could attach to the LCA.........in the front or rear of the bolt or it could replace the front or rear aluminum spacer that is on each side of the shock.
Many thanks for your help.

Mine is a little different because I have the Levy LCA's, but I attached the female rod end to the shock mount and used what would be the front spacer area.
Sorry, no pictures.
Edit, adding link to a thread with photos. Looks like they got longer bolts and bolted it on the outside of the shock mount. ?
(don't know the rules on this, so hope its' not deleted).

Out of curiosity, what size bar did Mike set you up with? Do you have both front and rear?
:)

Dave - based on several postings I had read, I went with the 7/8" bar. I'm using FFR lower control arms and only a front bar.

... and only a front bar.
You're about to get a lesson in understeer...

Jeff - I guess you are saying that I will need a rear bar also? Would appreciate some more details.
Thanks,
Ron

Unless you are using the throttle agressively to free up the rear end, when equipped with the standard live axle 500# front/350# rear spring combination these cars tend to have a bit of push (understeer), particularly off throttle or under braking. Stiffening up only the front will exacerberate that condition.
---------EDIT-------
What a coincidence! After writing the response above I found this thread:

Check out the link Bob posted in his reply which discusses oversteer, understeer and the causes/corrections for each.
