I recently purchased a MKIII from a friend that purchased it in 2006, started it and never finished. I would estimate it is about 75% completed, but some areas need to be redone. I have some questions before I start tearing into it. The basics of the car is it has independant rear suspension, Termec 5 speed, 347 stroker, Mustang pedals, Mustang front end, 4 wheel disc. I also has a Vortech 1 super charger with EFI and an Edelbrock upper plenum. (The supercharger and EFI works, but is going)
#1 Does the car need power steering?
#2 Does the car need power brakes?
#3 Since the car has EFI it has a electric fuel pump in the Mustang tank. Would it be best to go back to manual pump?
#4 The front lower control arms are Mustang. Would it be beneficial to purchase FF lowers?

That is all I have for now to get started, but I am sure you will see me on here every week.

1 & 2. You'll get lots of opinions on the brakes and steering, but if it has the Mustang pedals and they have not been modified yet, I'd suggest going with power brakes.
Personally, I did research and talked to owners and I'm going with Power brakes and steering.

3. If the in-tank pump is good, I'd keep it as-is. In-tank is quieter and cooler. (sorry, just realized you said manual, I was comparing to external electric pump).

4. FFR LCAs beneficial?? I've heard they are better. Personally, I had a set of the donors, but bought the FFR LCAs, looked better and I wasn't crazy about the modification that needed to be made to the donors (I'm sure it would work, but looked hookey to me).
