Car Painters

Hi,

I will be building my car on Long Island (Bethpage), New York. Does anyone know of a good local paint shop that has actually painted FFR cars on Long Island, and/or in the surrounding area. I'm not opposed to taking out of state as quality and experience in painting FFR cars would be paramount. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Kit is arriving second week September-can't wait!!!

Hey Walter, I'm nearby and looking for the same thing. I'm planning to start asking around at car shows. But I also want someone with some FFR experience.
A friend of mine is friendly with Billy Andrews at HRE Motorsports in Freeport, who does a lot of hot rod work on Long Island. I'm not sure if he has FFR experience though. I will find out more when I am introduced to him.

You might check around for local vocational schools. A local high school vocational class did a fine job on mine, for only materials cost.
