I contacted Stainless Headers (I'm pretty sure they're a vendor here, if not I can edit this post) to see if they wanted to build a Coyote/Roadster header solution. They were interested. This weekend I received the flange and build pieces:

Instructions are very easy to follow and the kit is easy to work with. After stopping by another FFR owner's house to measure his sidepipes, I got to work. I placed the sidepipes where they should end up, and built the headers to connect the engine and sidepipes:

The passenger side went really smooth. However the drivers side needs some modifications to the mock up flanges Stainless sent. So I'm getting with my welder tomorrow to make some tweaks and then finish them us time allows this week. If all goes according to plan these should be ready for purchase in 4-6 weeks. Hope this helps some other Coyote builders out there.

You really need to put the body on to make sure they come out in the correct place.
Here is a proto pic of our equal length, tuned system that will breath as much power as you want to put into it.

Thanks Gordon. I've been measuring openings on the body vs. where I've placed them vs. mounts as I go. Probably checked every dimension 20+ times during the day. When the drivers side gets finished I plan on dropping the body on.

You will like working with Chris and the guys from Stainless headers. I used them to build the set for my 351. They work great and look good. Do you know if there going to make a adjustable mock up set like they did for the 351 so people can set the location of the side pipes.

20 times or not, from the picture it looks as if the headers exit to far back towards the cockpit. I'd set the body on now.

I have to wonder if you are reinventing the wheel. The FFR 2V headers with AST flanges work great. All of us who have done it have no complaints. The demand I see is for a J-pipe/Cat setup that works with FFRs new Coyote shorties. Maybe the effort should go into a shorty style coyote header that will accept the standard roadster J-pipe or Cat. FFR is trying to make a fits-all and it's turning out to fit neither. There are more and more states requiring Cats on these cars, so the demand for the 4-tube headers will be shrinking. Just my 2 cents based on what I've been reading.
