Just wondering if you can get a gloss or satin black finish on the sidepipes?

I had mine ceramic coated in satin black:

To my knowledge a full gloss black ceramic is not offered.
Cheers,

Had both the headers and side pipes ceramic coated - here's a shot of the headers. The finish is satin black and very durable. I haven't tried it, but I've been told that very fine steel wool will polish the surface and give a gloss finish.

Wanna save some bucks? I used a rattle can of high temp flat black and after it was thoroughly dried I rubbed it with a soft cloth to get a satin finish. If you get stains, scuffs or scratches just re-spray, re-buff. My first spray lasted 9,000 miles and then I re-sprayed it to sell it. If this sounds too cheap & easy, try it on a piece of scrap steel first.

I was just trying to get it to a finish that would match my roll bars and wheels. looks like a ceramic coat and some steelwool is the closest I will get.

You could always do the rollbars satin. But I'd leave the wheels gloss as it's much easier to keep clean.

X2 on the BBQ black paint. I was a little skeptical at first but Pete was right. It varies with the amount of paint you apply and the amount of time you spend polishing but the results are very similar to the ceramic coated black pipes as far as I can tell. Personally, I like the flatter look but I may, like you, try to match the black roll bars a little more after it's done. If you use the paint you can use the money saved on some ceramic heat shields so you and your partner don't get snake bit!!!!!! Just sayin'. WEK.

x2 to AZPete's method. I used the same method, but instead of just buffing with a cloth, I used buffing compound on a foam pad and then hit it with a very fine compound. Finished it off with silicone wax (and no it doesn't burn off). It looks like black chrome when finished and best of all, it's easily repairable. And you can't beat the price.
