11154It was a year ago today that a helicopter was shot down by Afghan insurgents as it was rushing to aid troops in a firefight, killing 30 Americans, including 22 Navy SEALs, most of whom belonged to Team 6, the unit whose members were involved in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Helping to put thier bodies on the helicopter home was the hardest thing I've ever done. God Bless them and their families.

David, thanks for the reminder. Will we ever know the names of the heros in Team 6? Probably not I guess, for their families safety. I wish I could tell you all how proud we are of your service!

David.

We cant thank you and the members of our armed forces enough for your service to our country.

30 American service men. Every life a priceless loss.

It's crushing when I think about their families.

I Don't know if there is anything adequate that can be said.

Ill think about the fallen soldiers every day when I look at the American flag that flies perpetually in front of my house.

Thanks again
John

David, thank you for the post and sharing. The sacrifices these men and women make, the service to our country, there really aren't words, just respect.
