Hello all. I'm considering a MkIV Roadster build. My primary concern is whether I will be able to drive the car comfortably. I'm a big guy - 6'1" 265lbs. - and I've sat in older FF builds and not been comfortable or able to drive reasonably. Too little room in the footwell. I understand that the MkIVs have much more footwell room, but I haven't been able to sit in one to confirm for myself, which I'd like to do before I order a kit. Is there anyone with a MkIV roadster in or near Wisconsin that would be willing to meet me and let me sit in their car to confirm if I can fit and work the pedals reasonably? No need to let me drive, I'd just like to confirm size. I would likely be flying to meet you and I'd be happy to offer an airplane ride in return if that floats anyones boat. Please let me know.
