Hi there.I have wanted to build a Cobra for a while.The FFR kit seems to be right for me.It looks to be a great product and also I do not think the price will frighten the wife.Of course I will want to convert to RHD.So,any tips would be welcome.

A couple of points:
1) The engine is offset, so converting to RHD makes the foot box for the driver even smaller.
2) Don't make the foot boxes the same for aesthetic reasons. It makes the engine bay harder to work in
3) The steering column isn't as easy as flipping it over and remounting. You need a RHD steering column. Mine is a power steering column (linked below).

4) The NZ hotrod regulations are quite tough. Getting hold of the book is also quite tough with all the guidelines.
I think there are a couple of FFR's in Auckland already who imported it themselves and started building it a few years ago (5-6 years?). From memory, it cost a lot more than they were expecting. But I think that is common anywhere.
