I've tried posting in the Roadster and General Discussion forums, and I get "your post will appear after approved by a moderator". Is this because I just joined or is this true for EVERY post?

Broke the code - when I tried to post a link is when I got the message.

Pete, no worries. The software is interpreting your low post count and high percentage of posts with links to mean you might be a spammer. As your post count goes up, the spam catcher will learn to like you.

Joe has it right. Posting links in your first 10 posts results in the post having to be moderated. This is a result of some ant-spam software installed last night.
Still tweaking it a bit... We may initiate a "newbie" category (strictly based on posts here, obviously) that will make it so you can't post links, but your posts won't get moderated. Should have it worked out sometime this week. Sorry for the inconvenience Pete, but something had to be done about the 100+ spam registrations happening every day.
HTH,

David, is this forum based on phpBB? My Mustang club forum uses that software and there's a setting where you can ask a question and the answer is in a drop down box so bots can't automatically register. It can be a simple question like "What does FFR stand for" and then have three answers and the second or third one (I was told not to make it the first one) is "Factory Five Racing" and that shows it is a real person. I went from 8-10 spam registrations a day to zero! I originally had the setting to have a mod approve the first five posts but it was driving me nuts with all the spammers.
HTH...

I figured my low post count had something to do with it - no worries! (upping my post count with this post ;) )

I attached a pic with my first post. I think I am on that list. Seems like I'm always on a list.
