Q to FFR:
I am building a Mk roadster and approx 3/4 complete and looking forward to my next build.
Has FFR considered adding a GT40 replica similar to what the Mk4 is to the C*br*? Perhaps I am missing something however I would think the market for such a replica would be large. I would be first in line for such a FFR product
Thx

It's just my opinion but I think the GT40 would have the same issues the GTMs have with the very pricy components associated with the mid-engine setup. I don't think the market would support another GTM project at least for FFR. Don't get me wrong, I think it's one of the coolest designs of all time. I have a poster of several images of it hanging on the wall of my garage. I think Dave would say something to the effect, "been there, done that". But like you, I would really like to have one even though I probably wouldn't be able to do the necessary contortions to get in and out of one. WEK.

I love the GT 40 and would like to build one sometime.
But I agree with the skull, unlikely that FFR will come out with one. It's a limited market and a number of other established competetors.

I wouldnt think so, as Dallas mentioned there are already some well established competitors in a fairly limited market there. I believe Dave has also said in the past the FFR wants to focus on in house designs as opposed to replica's moving forward.

In the beginning the GTM was going to be a GT40 replica...then the lawsuits began and they opted to go with an original body design on the same platform.
As Steven said; "never".
