Hey guys, sorry it took so long for us to get these videos pulled together but better late than never and not a bad way to start the week off. Thanks to Craig for making it happen with all of the data overlay and multi camera synchronization!

This was our first time running with David Murry Trackdays and we have nothing but great things to report. http://davidmurry.com/ The event has all the good aspects of experienced open track events with 10+ hours of open track time spread over 2 days, but you also get to sit one on one with David Murry and get his expert advice on how to improve your lap times.

I showed David my best 2 laps (without chicane) where I had managed to go 1:36:3 back to back. He gave me some key pointers that allowed me to shave over 4 seconds off with the 1:32:00 in these videos (lap starts around 19 minute mark on #9 video). Yes, part of it was pushing harder than ever on the last run of the day (nearly missed Turn 1 a couple times!) but his advice gave me comfort of where I could push more the most, for example (A) in the right/left combo after the uphill rise, (B) exiting wider coming out of the "lightbulb" (slow left hander) which makes you fight through the very slight "esses" but carry more speed and (C) preloading the car before coming onto the front straight (a slight left/right before getting to the bridge).

Best of all, the cars were completely reliable for 2 days and we had a great time. Next stop Watkins Glen with Group 52 on August 1-2.

Dan that looks like so much fun. It does not look very crowded either. I did notice a few semi transporters in the paddock as well so I guess there are some pro teams at these events?

I signed up for a PCA event October 6 and 7th at lightning. Boy I hope my car is ready!

Im game for this event next year with you guys.

Hey John, looking forward to you joining us next season. This event was a couple days prior to ARCA/SCCA events that weekend so some teams showed up early to test/tune. It was good for us to have them show us what's up out on track, and without them we never would have run without the chicane. We had run the chicane on day 1 and people of course want to work on improving times on day 2 so we ran the AM again with chicane. The racers asked to run without the chicane so they could test the race configuration that they would be running and we all appreciated running it that way. Good luck getting the car done for October!

Great video Dan! Very nice laps. That is impressive that a couple of pointers could shave off 4 seconds, just like that!

Very cool Dan! I am curious about whether you felt a difference in frame stiffness with the door bars and roof bar. Thanks for taking the time to post this.
