My 2nd event with the new setup went much better. The higher power level can be a handful. On this run I had too much rear brake bias which made for a pretty wild ride. By the end of the day I was on par with the best I had ever run with the old motor. I took 1st in XP and was 3 seconds off of FTD.

Nice, some good saves there! What size steering wheel are you running? And what ratio steering rack?

Thanks guys! After this run I backed off the rear bias some to tame things abit. The next few runs were less exciting but over 2 seconds faster.
The Wheel is a MOMO Mod 88 320mm and is 12 3/4" OD.

The rack is a 2 turn lock to lock, but that is with one limiter on the rack to keep the 10.5" rims from hitting the control arms. I would guess it is a 2.25-2.5 turn rack without the limiters. I was told by the guy that found it for me it was the fastest boosted rack ford made for the fox body, but not sure what car it came from.

That looked like a lot of fun. Also, you have an awesome steering setup. I don't know if I could live with the tiny wheel all the time but since I'm going with a quick release that would be a very convenient change for on the highway type driving. Enjoyed the video. Thanks, WEK.

I really like the small wheel. It makes it easier to carry when I am concerned with someone walking off with it. I love the MOMO suede feel. The soft feel is nice for setting on the dash without scratching something.

Thanks for the insight on the MOMO. I have heard about them but never had my hands on one. I guess I should reserve judgement until then. But the quick release I am getting is MOMO ready (bolt pattern). Thanks, WEK.
