Will a Canton dual sump oil pan for a fox body mustang work on a MK4?

According to my measurements (from a Coupe) the 9" deep models will hang below the frame rails. I think, and hopefully someone else can confirm, that Roadsters' and Coupes' frames are the same in terms of how the engine sits in the frame. The other Canton/Fox models are 7.5" deep and may, or may not, give you just enough ground clearance (again, based on my measurements from a Coupe). When I had my engine and transmission mocked up on the chassis, with all new Energy Suspension mounts, I got 8" from the oil pan rail at the front of the engine to a straight edge across the bottom of the 4" frame tubes. The front of the engine was tilted up a little relative to the frame, so the clearance was less at the back of the engine block. So, with a 7.5" deep pan, and assuming the Coupe and Roadster are the same, the 7.5" deep Canton pans will be pretty close to the bottom of the frame tubes. So, they may or may not "fit."
I have a used one sitting amound for a 302 and would be happy to let it go for a modest price. I would need to do some measurements to figure out exactly which Canton model it is, but it is a Fox-style 302 pan, and I don't think it is a 9" deep model. Send me a PM if interested. If it doesn't fit, you can send it back.

7-7.5" is about as deep as you want to go. Anything more than that will definatly hang below the frame rails.
There's no need to use a double hump pan, unless you already own it. And there's a few good reasons not to.

Thanks, it came with the engine. I will have to get a new one. Can anyone tell me where to get the best one for a 393?

I have mine in stock.
Do you have a picture and how much Gordon? I've heard good things about it.
