Hi guys I am installing the wire harness and I see there is a fuel inertia switch. Is this eliminated if I have a carbureted engine ? If so do I just splice the cables together or do I just leave off completely.

If you are using a mechanical fuel pump, you can eliminate the switch. If you are using an electrical fuel pump, you should wire the switch into the circuit.

Retain it in the power supply if you are using an electric pump, whether in or out of the tank. If you are running with a mechanical pump it serves no purpose and can be eliminated . You could pull the wire out of the harness or leave it in place so that it is already at the back of the car should you ever need it for an accessory in the trunk area such as a power port or trunk light.
