Here it is, the first video (I think) of an FFR lapping at Le Mans!!
This is the Classic Le Mans, which takes place every two years about two weeks after the other Le Mans race. This is the first time I have been and I booked two "parade laps" in advance.
I was expecting to parade, or at least see a Safety Car around somewhere, maybe a briefing, some rules or guidance? NO, nothing of the sort. 100 nutters let loose all at the same time, none of whom can possibly know their way around this 8 mile circuit. Huge speed differentials between some of the 1950s and 1960s sports cars, me and modern Ferraris at the other end of the scale.
A race driver told me that if I wasn't braking within 200yds of the first chicane on the Mulsanne straight, it would be too late!! I need 200 yards at 125 mph, let alone 140, so I chickened out and backed off. Every time I left some space between me and the car in front, some pr*tt filled it!
Very scary - here goes! 7 or so minutes of heaven!

How lucky were we with the weather, can't believe it stayed dry - did you see those clouds?
I really hope this is a first - I feel dead proud!
The car was magnificient - on the way down, round the track and all the way back - not a hitch!
Enjoy!
Regards
Ian
