I have a completed roadster. Ffr3411. It is a tweener which means in between the first series and second series. I would like to install power brakes. Question is which booster setup works due to the limited space on the early builds. The booster would hit the bracing. Has anyone fit a booster in after build completed and what do you recommend.. Thanks tom

I think that Breeze Automotive (http://www.breezeautomotive.com/home.php) make a retro-fit power brake unit that you should be able to install without taking the body off. Don't know how tough that would be though, but give Mark a call.

The Breeze kit requires cutting the 3/4" frame rail by the brake booster. Should be able to do with the body on (that's what I put on mine, but before the driver's footbox panels were in place). Breeze provides a metal piece that is bolted in to clear the booster. The hard part will be connecting to the brake pedal with the footbox in place. It's a great kit.

Might think about the electric unit (I don't remember the brand offhand). It appears to be totally installed from underneath. Someone here will suggest it and have some specifics, I'm sure. Good luck with it!

Breeze makes a bunch of good stuff but it is Whitby that offers the retrofit kit.

With a Mustang pedal box you'll need to change to an unmodified pedal as well.

Make sure you modify your left side louvers so you can remove them for this job.

You're correct, it is Whitby. I should have looked into my folder before posting. I used a 93 pedal box without modifications (other than bending the pedal shafts). Thanks for the correction.
