It definitely takes a little more work to make the GTM water tight. In a measure of time though? Its difficult to say. The areas that you need to concentrate on are the passenger and drivers doors and windows obviously. They are what will give you the most headaches. Also, under the front hood if you look at where the brake master cylinders are, there needs to be a small close out panel there otherwise when you wash your car, you'll have a waterfall on your pedals. Also, you need to concentrate more time on the front wheel guards and close out panels, the panels which meet up with the fiber glass body. Those need to be sealed perfectly too. Thats what i did in my car and i noticed that not only did it solve the water tightness issues but also, theres very little wind noise now . Overall, i guesstimate that you'll spend about 30% more time on the body to get it nicely water tight that what you normally would. So say for example, it takes you 40 hours to get the doors working, so add abouther 12 hours to get them production car perfect. Thats first time around. If you are used to working with the GTM, then that time comes down SIGNIFICANTLY. But for a first time ever, thats probably a good indication.

Yup, those are the panels i used. They are MUCH better than the stock ones. In my case at least, very easy to make a nice and water tight fit.
