The 818 should "look" wider and lower than the roadsters but it won't be wider in reality. I think it will be a bit lower and if my observations have been accurate, you should be able to lower the ride height below 4 inches like on the roadsters. Maybe there would be a skid plate installed to avoid any bottom end engine contact. Doesn't the GTM have a skid plate? Anyway, I believe it's going to be so low that you will basically roll out of it instead of step out!@ Think of it as riding in a high performance go kart if you have ever rode one of those and then multiply it by about 10x. Probably not, they're Plenty low already, mabey wider though I doubt that also

The width will be stock WRX width. It is really hard to tell what the actual dimensions are from pictures. If you check Kachi22's posts, he has done some ridiculous analysis of this and is probably the best person to answer you query.

What do you consider lower? If you're measuring ride height at the lowest part of the frame, I believe they're going to be roughly the same but it's "easily" adjustable.

The track width is dictated by the donor. An 02 WRX sedan is 58.3". The Cobra is 58.5".

Well, the distance between fender flares is 66.5 in in front and 71.5 in in the rear on my roadster. So that's really what you are going to see. I don't know if the shape of the rear of the 818 will make it look wider or not. I don't think it is really wider. I quess I was just assuming the 818 would ride lower because it is much more aerodynamic so it seems that the lower height would reduce the amount of air under the chassis and lower the CG a little more for the R version. I think the daily drivers would have to make a practical decision on that point. It would be another discussion entirely just to talk about ride height and why one choose to go that way. E.g.: mine is at 4 in and 4 in and this is why I did it and it worked or didn't do what I thought it would. Like I said, that's another thread. Thanks, WEK.

What really counts is where the center of gravity is, and that should be lower the the Cobras

This might help, it's a shot of my 05 wagon next to my buds freshly built MK3 roadster from a few years back.

A GD chassis WRX/STI sedan has a f/r trackwidth of 58.5''/58.3'' The wagon is 57.7''/57.3''

A Fox and SN95 Chassis Mustang has roughly a 60''/58.7'' front/rear. Those make up the bulk of the FFR roadster donor cars.

This means the width of the 818 is within a half of an inch (sedan donor) and a little over an inch in trackwidth with the Roadster. People running wagon donors I be would just use wheel spacers or a higher offset wheel to get the tire patch at the same width. It's going to be badass regardless.
