Might be a stupid question, but I dont like the clips on the fuel line that run from the fuel tank and the filter. Can I just replace with a regular ruber tube and clamps?

You can, but the factory stuff works very well and makes filter changes a breeze.

i went to start our roadster today for the first time, no start, no fuel going to the pump. i had taken the gas tank back out and when i did three was a lil plastic ring in the fitting and it fell out and i didn't know it did and it would not let the fuel pump to get gas. found the prob and fixed it. the fittings work great as long as you don't take them apart much...

Do not use "regular rubber hose" for fuel line. They make fuel spacific hose for the purpose (does not have to be be the braided stainless steel stuff).
