I took a digger in a dip recently and thought I needed some protection. Dan Ruth makes this nice rail that goes on the chin to protect it but I don't have any chrome or polished aluminum on my car so I picked up this:

$8 and there's two of them. And they come in colors! I got black of course. They also come with wood screws (since skateboards are wood) but I used double sided duck tape and then screwed them in as well. If it wears down, I have a spare! Doesn't look as nice as Dan's but it will do the job for me.
