CBS: Actor Andy Griffith Dies At 86

MANTEO, N.C. - Actor Andy Griffith has died at the age of 86.

According to CBS News, a family friend confirmed Griffith's death.

Griffith was most famous for playing Sheriff Andy Taylor on “The Andy Griffith Show.”

He will be missed.
