After seeing others post about the wheelbase not matching the body I decided to check it out, and I agree it's about 1" short of matching
Add that to a needed change in ride height of 2" for a full fender running board car and I found two obstacles to deal with. Rear control arm length
and rear upper control arm angle. I found off the shelf double adjustable upper control arms and am having single adjustable lowers made to
get the length I need and add sway bar mounts and also delete the spring perches that many aftermarkets have. The last item is to change the UCA
frame tabs to an adjustable I found that lets me drop that point 2" The end result shows a calculated proper anti-squat percentage and a good instant center
location for height and length. I haven't found any calculators that tell me if this will have any negative effect on braking yet, so I'm open to suggestions there.
I will post the results when I get the parts in hand and the new tabs installed. I have cycled the suspension with temporary links and all these dimensions in use
and found no ill results with axle location or pinion angle, and I do plan to re-work the coil overs as it all comes together later.
