What a fantastic forum!!!! I have been lurking on here for months now, time to start making a contribution :) So far I have made the trip to FFR to see the real thing and I'm getting very excited to pull the trigger....just trying to hold off till the end of the summer when I will actually have some time to start building.

The waiting is the hardest..lol :)
You may want to start ordering some other items such as shocks, dash instruments, and any other options, now. My build was held up somewhat, waiting for parts to come in from the US

Keep an eye out on the dollar exchange rate. You may find a time when the Canuck buck is back up again. Could save some decent bucks. Cost me an extra 8% when I bought mine. Six months ago I could have saved 5%. That would pay for a complete set of new Koni's!
I wouldn't let that stop you, but if you see a bump in the dollar, might be the time to order, even if it's next week..

Allow for the customary delay with the DOT approval process too. That could add from two weeks to six weeks, depending on your luck..

Thanks AC Bill, great advice for sure. I'm kicking myself for not pulling the trigger when the muscle car sale was on. I sent a e-mail to ffr Friday to see what kind of a turnaround to expect from the date I order. I guess there are lots of guys here that can answer that question for me as well.
