Difficulty of GTM Build

I have been pondering building a kit car over the last year or so and I was just wondering how much mechanical know-how is needed to build the GTM and if the build school for a different car (Roadster) would help.

Yes the build school would help, the GTM is (IMHO) not the car to start with if you have not built a car before. I would recommend waiting till the 818 comes out, F5R goal is 1/3 the build time of the GTM. Once you get a build under your belt, then move up to the GTM. There is a reason there are more unfinished kits sold then there are completed cars.

THe GTM is the hardest of them all.......I believe you can do it if your patient and ask questions here. The body and paint on that car is best left to a pro. Definitly the build school is very helpfull for the construction of any car..........Steven
