Hi! I have purchased FFR6870. It's an MK3.1 with a 521 cid big block 385 series motor and a TKO 600. That's the good news, the bad news is it's in pretty bad shape, so, pretty much everything has to be redone. I hope to get some suggestions and help from the members here, and hopefully have this car to the shape that it deserves to be in.

Wish me luck!

Congratulations on your purchase! Let us know what you have to do. Lots of us follow the threads here, and you'll get lots of advice and help. Some good, some bad. Is this your first experience with an FFR car? Hopefully the car came with a build manual and notes on what went into the car (that was some of the first advice I got here - a purchaser or mechanic will need to know what he or she is working with). Good luck!

Thank you SSTrong! There is quite a bit missing from the "kit", including some of the documentation. I am probably going to purchase a digital version of the manual just so I can have it everywhere. This is my first experience with an FFR, I was a Chevrolet mechanic in the late 80's early 90's (ASE Certified), and have had several project cars since then that I would either track or drag race. But, this is my first Cobra. It's always been a dream of mine to own a big block Cobra, and, well, this one was affordable.

Well, just trying to make the best of it! I'll get it done!

Thanks again1
