Linxs,

Are those air to air intercoolers? It looks like a nice kit. Lets see some pics while your mocking it up, OK. Thanks, WEK.

Where did you get the kit? I feel like a turbo GTm would require a LOT of custom work...

?More questions. Inquiring minds want to know!!! So the cut down intercoolers will tuck in behind the pipes you have in place. That's going to be a tight fit, I bet. Where will the radiator tubes be routed? By the way is "PUL HRD" going to be street legal? I don't see a place for cats. Man, that's a lot of plumbing. I did see some turbo covers. Will you also use ceramics or other means for cooling the engine bay? Thanks, WEK.

Actualy the I/C will sit over the top of the Tranny (current plan). We are looking at putting the coolers in the wheel well scoop in front of the rear tires. The tubing for those will be figures out when we get to that point.

Street Legal = no.

All piping will be coated, yes.

I also purchased some other venting items. We will be putting that stuff in with fans to help push heat out when the car is sitting still.

Looks very nice Linxs. I have a friend doing a similar setup in his GTM. He will be using an air to air intercooler on his with a pair of fans pulling air from the hatch opening. Apparently he wont be using any silencers he is hoping that the turbos will make it quiet enough. I don't think so but that's the exhaust he is going for. The intercooler needs to come up some more to its final installation position.

That looks great! What tranny is he using? The turbos do quiet it down but it'll still be a little loud. looks nice! It's hard to tell but it looks like he did not build the exhaust piping yet? I was curious how he plans on running it.

If I am not mistaken, it looks like a Mendeola rear cover on that trans. ;)

As crash said he is running the Mendeola tranny. You are correct he is now in the process of making the piping and modifying the headers to work with this set up.

I went by his home today. Here is what he did with the exhaust. Sorry for the picture quality they were taken with my phone.

He used a set of BBK headers

The wastegate dump pipes are just tack welded. For what I could see they are the only thing that's not finished on the exhaust.

Wow that's a pretty set of headers and a very clean install. Iv always been a fan of normally aspirated power but seeing all the cool fab work linxs, jchracer and kempo's buddy are doing is making me think I have a turbo powerd car in my future.
