An enjoyable weekend! 1,300 miles in 72 hours, and no problems, except overheating in the stop and go at the border. We also installed the glass hatch while in the FFR parking lot on Friday. Our hotel room was #302.
Was good to meet everyone and put a face to their names here. I was very impressed by the high quality of work displayed, and hope you don't mind if I steal some more ideas.
This is a link to my photobucket album of Open House photos.

12 Hour Round Trip for a 4 Hour Show
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We drove the Coupe up on Friday and stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Middlesboro. Because of where the Coupes were parked it was hard to get a group shot of them like in the past. Even though a lot of past Coupe attendees didn’t make it, we still had a record setting 13 Coupes that showed up for this years show and a Spyder. Mike Jones won the “greatest distance traveled” coming from Canada. Greg Pellegrino took “Best Coupe” with his over the top frame modifications and electronic stacked fuel injected 427 BIG BLOCK. That’s right a 427 FE Coupe! It’s hard to compete against that.

Oh Yeah!!!!! look at all those beautiful ladies in a row, gives me goose bumps!!!:)
This is one of my favorite FFR cars. I love that maroon colored one, don't think I have ever seen one in that color before.
I see from a few of the pictures, people are using the new rear hatch window.

Vman7, we arrived in Wareham on Friday about noon, met Dave Smith and had a good tour, bought the glass hatch and installed it in the parking lot. Took about 3 hours and fit quite well - one small rub but I think I can shim it to clear.
After spending 24 hours driving out of 72, I have a great deal of respect for the long distance racers like Karen. Driving at race speeds for that long must be a heck of a test.
Regards, Mike

That's impressive, considering you did that pretty much on the fly.
