I have a 2009 Type 65 Coupe I bought partially assembled. I have the complete kit from that year which included, FFR supplied dual Wilwood .75 bore MCs, and Wilwood pedal assembly, as well as the FFR supplied mustang brakes
(99-04 V6 and GT Front 10.8", 44.5 x 44.5mm Dual Piston PBR, 10" Rear Disc 38mm Single Piston).
Are these the correct bore size MC for the best performance for these brakes? I have heard various discrepancies and wanted to hear the official version.

Don,

The current master cylinders that come with the complete kit are both 3/4" bore. There has been some discussion here about changing just the rear master cylinder to 5/8" bore with the Wilwood pedal box. The change has not yet been made to the kit.

Best regards,

Brian, Thank you for your reply, I had a few questions.
What would that change make exactly? Would that make the braking more proportional/balanced before even using the bar, or is it for pedal feel/easier braking or both?
