Installing the newer style roadster seats in a MKII?

I would like to install the newer style roadster seats with the tubular frame in place of the older molded fiberglass style that came with my MKII. Are there any special consideratons to take into account before I proceed with the swap? Are the mounting points the same or at all similar?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the very same thing 3 years ago in my MK2, much better seats. I used the same seat track, and just drilled the seat frames to fit.
