View Full Version : Open House pics
My 11 year old, Ethan, had the camera yesterday and here are the '33 pictures that he took. Yes, they are mostly of our '33.... He also took pictures of the Car Warriors '33s, but we've seen those already....
The weather was fantastic. I believe that this was the largest gathering of '33s to date. I think that there were 9 or 10 in total, including those in the showroom.
It was also really nice to Chuck (YellowBird) come out from Arizona to attend the Open House.

I will say that the '33s generated a lot of interest and I spoke with quite a few folks that plan on getting one.
It seemed that the bench seat that I have was of some interest to some as it really makes the cockpit look larger.

Any details (pictures) on what you did with the waterfall? The FFR seats are round back and the ones I am using (Audi TT) have a very square back. If using the stock waterfall, I will lose a substantial amount of leg room. The mods you accomplished to use the bench would be instructive.

Thanks Olli (and Ethan ) for the pics. I'd like to see some more, particularly a view of those engine side panels with the hood closed.
Yes, there are three seatbelts. Outboards are 3 point retractable, center is a lap belt.
As far as the waterfall, I just cut out the sculpting and made it straight. I then molded the waterfall to the body, so that there wouldn't be any exposed fasteners or seams in the jams.

Well, it looks like Ethan didn't take any pictures with the hood closed so I found this picture. The chin piece isn't on but it should still give you an idea of how the side panels look with the hood closed.
The panels let you see what you want to see of the engine and the will let the heat escape. They also cover what you don't want to see such as; steering linkage, Heater and A/C lines and dryer.

Hey, thanks Olli for the picture. That looks so cool and solves a problem at the same time. And that's what Rodding is all about!
